ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – Some Wegmans products are being recalled.

On September 12, three kinds of Wegmans-brand canned fruit were pulled from shelves for possible lead exposure.

Officials say the California-based canning company, Pacific Coast Producers, recalled three specific lots of canned fruit “due to lead levels being above regulatory guidance.”
