Temperatures cause Homer ice rink to temporarily close

HOMER, NY (607NewsNow) — A recreational spot in Cortland County is temporarily closed.

There’s no skating right now at the Ralph Thornton Municipal Ice Rink in Homer. According to the Village of Homer Recreation Department, the rink has closed because of recent temperatures.

The rink will reopen once the weather gets colder and safe ice conditions return.
