TC3 hoops players receive All-Region nods

DRYDEN, NY (607NewsNow) — Two TC3 basketball players are receiving recognition.

Freshman Kyla Mustapha and freshman Jah-Mel Bruce have each been named All-Region in Region 3 of the National Junior College Athletic Association. Mustapha was selected to the second team, while Bruce was voted to the first team.

Mustapha led the region in scoring on the women’s side. She averaged 21.9 points per game.

On the men’s side, Bruce led the region in steals. He averaged 3.4 steals per game.

Both players also finished third in the region in assists.
