TC3 celebrates 50th anniversary of Dryden campus

DRYDEN, NY (CortacaToday) — Tompkins Cortland Community College is celebrating a birthday. 

The Dryden campus opened in 1974 – 50 years ago this year. TC3 President Dr. Amy Kremenek tells WHCU the school’s mission after so many years remains the same. 

Tompkins County Legislator Mike Lane represents Dryden. As a lifelong resident, Lane says the school’s impact on the area has been ‘wonderful.’ 

TC3 first opened in Groton in 1968 before moving. The school celebrated its birthday on Monday.
