CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) — There’s no shortage of competition today at SUNY Cortland.

The Cortland men’s soccer team hosts Oneonta at 1 p.m. After that, the Cortland women’s soccer team will entertain Buffalo State at 4 p.m. Each game takes place at Halloway Field.

Earlier this season, the Cortland men’s soccer team tied Oneonta 0-0 in a physical game. The referee handed out several yellow cards, and Oneonta junior Adrian Matute was ejected.

On the women’s side, Cortland defeated Buffalo State 2-0 on Oct. 11. Senior goalie Olivia Rouse made five saves in the victory.

The winners of today’s games will advance to the SUNYAC Finals on Saturday.
