ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – The Sciencenter is sporting a fresh look.

The learning museum in Ithaca received a new exterior paint job last week, its first in 30 years. Officials say the new paint will also help protect the building from weather.

Additionally, the Sciencenter recently unveiled a water feature and the Stump House optical illusion and tunnels in the Science Park.

Earlier this year, the Sciencenter received nearly $1 million in state funding for a Green Retrofit project to install a geothermal heat system.
