Retired CCSO K9 Officer Frenky remembered for service

CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) – The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office is honoring a fallen member.

On August 8, retired K9 Officer Frenky passed away.

Frenky joined the department in 2015 and was certified in tracking, article search, patrol, and advanced narcotics detection. He retired in 2020. In a Facebook post, the Sheriff’s Office thanked Frenky for his dedicated service to Cortland County.

Frenky spent his entire career under the watch of Lieutenant Kimberly Natoli.
