HOMER, NY (607NewsNow) — The Village of Homer is preparing a sewer project.

Ahead of construction, the village is receiving assistance from consulting firm Barton & Loguidice. Jacqueline Jones, who works for the firm, shared details about the project.

“The sewer project would address eight of the nine pump stations,” she told village trustees on Feb. 10. “The ninth pump station was just totally rehabilitated in 2015, so that one didn’t need any additional work.”

Jones said approvals are needed before construction can begin.
