(607NewsNow) — Our pets of the week start with Iven (Top L) and Jack (Top R) from CNY Snap.

Iven is about 5 months old and has been at the shelter since December 2025. He’s the only one still at the shelter from his litter and would love to have another cat to play with again. The older he gets, the more affection he shows, and the more he looks for pets anywhere he can get them.

Jack had been living in a colony outside before he came to the shelter, one of his neighbors looking out for him brought him in. He is about 2 years old and seems shy at first, but eventually warms up to new people and looks for belly rubs and pets from them. He gets along well with other cats and would love a warm, comforting home after spending his days as a kitten outside.

Next, we have Smoke (Bottom L) and Harley (Bottom R) from the Cortland County SPCA. Smoke is 8 years old and may seem shy, but is actually quite outgoing and friendly when he’s approached. He was brought to the shelter with his brother Harley, who is about 4 years old. Harley is the more cautious and introverted one of the pair but can still be pet when approached calmly. Though not a requirement, it would be beneficial for them to be adopted together.
