Owasco man accused of having cocaine shipped to his home

OWASCO, NY (607NewsNow) – A Cayuga County man is charged with felony drug possession.

On May 6, deputies arrested Joseph Herbert of Owasco following an investigation that began in February 2026.

The 27-year-old is accused of ordering drugs online and having them delivered to his house. Authorities seized the product and sent it to the NYSP Forensic Investigation Center, where it was confirmed to be just over 13 grams of cocaine.

Herbert will return to Owasco Town Court at a later date.
