NYSP releases ID of woman found dead outside Cortlandville bowling alley

CORTLANDVILLE, NY (607NewsNow) — State Police are still looking into a Cortlandville death. 

Troopers say the body of 73-year-old Anne Lafitte was found behind the Cort-Lanes Bowling building on Feb. 1. Toxicology results for Lafitte, who was homeless, are pending, and may take months to determine a cause of death. 

In a related story, autopsy results revealed 59-year-old Robin Bowman, who was found dead Nov. 25, 2025 in Cortlandville, passed away from hypothermia.
