No injuries in Preble trailer fire

PREBLE, NY (607NewsNow) — The cause of a fire Friday morning in Preble remains under investigation.

According to the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office, “officers located a trailer with heavy fire at the rear of the trailer” around 4:30 a.m. at the Mountain View Trailer Park on State Rt. 281.

“Firefighters arrived on scene and started extinguishing the fire. None of the occupants were injured in the fire,” deputies stated.

Several departments, including Preble, Homer, Cortlandville, and Spafford, responded to the scene.
