SPENCER, NY (607NewsNow) — Spencer lawmakers are investing in Nichols Park Pond.

On May 4, the Village of Spencer Board of Trustees unanimously approved spending up to $400 on topsoil. Trustees also unanimously approved spending up to $300 on roof coating for the food booth.

Elsewhere in the region, the Finger Lakes Land Trust is celebrating new improvements at the Roy H. Park Preserve.
