Marathon CSD holding vote on $12M capital project

MARATHON, NY (CortacaToday) — The Marathon Central School District is holding a referendum vote.

District officials say a $12 million capital project would address urgent building code issues, with no additional tax impact on residents. Most of the funding comes from state building aid they anticipate and money from capital reserves.

Voting is today at Marathon’s Jr./Sr. High School. Polls are open from noon to 9 p.m.
