Mannion accused of yelling, sexist behavior by former staffers

SYRACUSE, NY (CortacaToday) — Former staff members to a current Congressional candidate are accusing him of creating a hostile work environment.

The self-described ‘concerned former staff’ of New York State Senator John Mannion say the Democrat would scream at staff members. Mannion is also accused by the anonymous group of retaliation and sexist behavior.

Sarah Klee Hood, Mannion’s Democratic rival in the 22nd Congressional district primary, calls the accusations ‘incredibly concerning.’

Mannion describes the accusations as a smear campaign. The primary in Cortland County, which is part of the redrawn 22nd Congressional district, is tomorrow. There are no political primaries tomorrow in Tompkins or Tioga Counties.
