Longtime Owego baseball coach, firefighter passes away


OWEGO, NY (CortacaToday) — Families in Tioga County are remembering a longtime coach.

Owego Little League says Ken Winters has passed away. He served on the Board of Directors and was also a former president.

The league says the loss is “deeply felt.”

According to his obituary, Winters was also a lifetime member of the Owego Southside Fire Company.

He was 70 years old.
