Lansing Community Library hosting Intro to Watercolor class

LANSING, NY (607NewsNow) — On Saturday, April 11th, the Lansing Community Library (LCL) is hosting a free intro to watercolor class with Lee O’Connell from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

A local watercolor artist, O’Connell’s work has been exhibited at The Houghton Gallery at 171 Cedar Arts,
The Evelyn Peacock Peeler Gallery at the Arts Council of the Southern Tier, and is currently exhibiting at the Shady Palm Art Gallery in Marathon, Florida.

The class is an introduction to watercolor through landscapes, showing students how to paint a simple landscape. Participants will explore lost and found edges, practice basic color mixing, discover techniques for creating depth, and more.
