Kraham wins Binghamton mayoral race

BINGHAMTON, NY (607NewsNow) — Binghamton’s mayor will remain in office.

Unofficial results from the Broome County Board of Elections show Mayor Jared Kraham defeated Democrat Miles Burnett by nearly 700 votes.

In a Facebook post after polls closed on election night, Kraham said his priorities will remain the same in his second term.

“I’m still going to be focused on things like public safety and neighborhood quality of life, but we will continue to fight for Binghamton’s families, our hard-working small business owners, and the people that make Binghamton go,” he said.

Kraham said he’s “proud” to serve the city. He thanked voters, volunteers, and donors for their support.
