ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – Ithaca is once again asking for input.

You are invited to give design ideas for the final phase of the Move Ithaca Active Transportation Plan, which seeks to establish a safe biking and walking network across the city.

In this phase, planners are examining five key locations, which were developed after analyzing crash data and collecting public feedback. They include the Chestnut and Elm Street corridor, the Meadow Street and Cecile Malone Dr./Titus Avenue intersection, the Court Street/University Avenue/Lake Street corridor, the South Cayuga Street corridor, and the Hudson Street corridor.

Residents, local business owners, and commuters are encouraged to participate.

The virtual workshop is scheduled for October 28 at 3:30 p.m. Click here to register.
