Ithaca reclaims Cortaca Jug; Bills beat Bucs

The Ithaca College football team has regained possession of the Cortaca Jug. The Bombers beat SUNY Cortland 26-21 on Saturday. Ithaca wide receiver Nick Lang caught two touchdowns in the win. About 8,000 fans attended the game.

No luck for the Cornell football team. The Big Red fell to Dartmouth 24-14 on Saturday. Cornell was held to 41 rushing yards in the loss.

What a weekend for the Cornell women’s basketball team. The Big Red beat Mercyhurst on Friday, then defeated Canisius on Sunday. Cornell junior Rachel Kaus scored 18 points in each game.

Back-to-back wins for the Cornell men’s hockey team. The Big Red beat Brown and Yale over the weekend.

The Syracuse women’s basketball team is on a four-game win streak. On Sunday, the Orange outscored Wagner 78-29.

The TC3 men’s basketball team had a nice weekend. The Panthers outplayed Hudson Valley on Saturday, then took down Adirondack on Sunday.

Back-to-back losses for the Syracuse Crunch. Syracuse lost to Hershey and Belleville over the weekend.

The Bills outplayed the Buccaneers 44-32 on Sunday. Josh Allen had six total touchdowns in the win.

Five straight losses for the Giants. They fell to the Packers 27-20 on Sunday.

The SUNY Cortland men’s soccer team is advancing in the NCAA tournament. The Red Dragons beat Catholic University 2-1 on Sunday. Cortland senior Josh Carroll scored the winning goal in the final minutes.
