ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) — An Ithaca leader is shedding light on the city’s proposed budget.

Alderperson Patrick Kuehl said the 2025 spending plan is around $107 million. He said it includes raises for city employees.

“Most of the increase comes from wages, and not actually increased services,” he said.

Last year, the city approved a $101 million budget.

Ithaca’s Common Council plans to vote on the spending plan Nov. 6.
