ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – You can celebrate community this weekend in Ithaca.

On August 16, the Ithaca Professional Firefighters Association will host its 32nd Annual Kids’ Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Stewart Park.

Run by current and retired members of the Ithaca Fire Department, the educational outreach event will have fire truck rides, a rope slide, safety demonstrations, and more.

Saturday’s forecast looks good, but in the event of rain, Kids Day will take place on Sunday, August 16, at the same time and location.
