ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — Final approval might be granted this evening for an Ithaca housing project.

The city’s Planning & Development Board will talk about a proposed mixed-use building on College Avenue. The eight-story building would include 77 apartment units and retail space.

Part of the construction process would involve demolishing the old East Hill Fire Station, which was decommissioned in June 2025.

The board meets at 6 p.m. at Ithaca City Hall.
