HOMER, NY (607NewsNow) — After 18 years of delivering authentic Southern rock and Texas blues to the Finger Lakes and Southern Tier, Iron Horse will take the stage one last time with a farewell performance at Homer Hops Brewery on Saturday, September 6th, from 6–9 p.m.

Presented by Cayuga Media Group and co-sponsored by Youngdub Studios, this free community concert will serve as a fundraiser, with donations benefiting Hospicare and the Cancer Resource Center of the Finger Lakes.

Iron Horse shared in a joint statement:
“After 18 incredible years together, we wanted this last performance to be truly meaningful. Donating our proceeds to Hospicare and the Cancer Resource Center felt like the perfect way to give back. These organizations have touched our lives and the lives of so many in our community. This is our way of saying thank you and celebrating the music, the memories, and the people who made this journey unforgettable.”

Margo Holley, Marketing and Communications Manager at Hospicare Ithaca, said:
“We’re honored that Iron Horse is turning their final show into a gift for our community. Their music has brought people together for years, and now their generosity will help us bring comfort and care to families when it matters most.”

Bert Scholl, of the Cancer Resource Center of the Finger Lakes, added:
“We’re incredibly grateful to Iron Horse for supporting CRC. Their generosity directly impacts families in our community facing cancer. It’s especially meaningful knowing that one of their band members is a cancer survivor who received support from CRC and is now giving back in such a powerful way.”

Homer Hops Brewery shared:
“It’s an honor to welcome Iron Horse back for their farewell performance and to help raise funds for such meaningful causes.”

Chet Osadchey, President of Cayuga Media Group, said:
“It will be exciting to see Iron Horse take the stage one last time. We’re proud to support their farewell and the great causes they’re giving back to.”
