IPD: Person crossing Second St. hit by vehicle at low speed

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — A pedestrian who was crossing a road in Ithaca is recovering after getting struck by a vehicle.

According to IPD, “the pedestrian was crossing Second St. when they were struck at low speed by a vehicle that had just completed a turn from Hancock St. onto Second St. The driver of the vehicle did not see the pedestrian already in the roadway and was found to be at fault in this accident.”

The incident happened around 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 10. The victim’s injuries are reportedly not life threatening.
