IPD chief addresses crime calls downtown

ITHACA, NY (CortacaToday) — Ithaca Police Chief Tom Kelly is looking at crime on the Commons. 

Kelly tells WHCU calls reflect a positive change. 

Kelly adds that although not every call downtown requires a police officer, IPD is ready to intervene when situations grow more tense.

Chief Kelly recently told WHCU that in the past three years, crime citywide has fallen.
