Homer homicide victim ID’d by Cortland County Sheriff’s Office

HOMER, NY (607NewsNow) — A homicide investigation continues in Cortland County.

Deputies say 53-year-old Anthony Beecham was found in the driveway shortly before 3:30 Wednesday morning with several gunshot wounds. Beecham was pronounced dead after being brought to Guthrie Cortland Medical Center. A dark colored vehicle was seen leaving the area of Grove Street and Route 281 at a high rate of speed, but deputies do not have a suspect.
