Free NYSEG energy saving kits available for older adults in Tompkins County

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – The Tompkins County Office for the Aging (COFA) is helping older adults lower their energy costs.

NYSEG energy-saving kits are available for eligible residents at the COFA building in Ithaca.

Designed to make homes more energy-efficient, each kit contains outlet and switch gaskets, door sweeps, spray foam, and window insulation.

Anyone 60 and over can pick one up during business hours at the office, located at 214 West State Street, free of charge, Monday through Friday.

Supplies are limited, one kit per household.
