Former substitute bus driver at Homer CSD arrested on child porn charges

HOMER, NY (607NewsNow) – A Central New York man who previously worked in the Homer Central School District is facing child porn charges.

On January 9, Luke Underwood, of Otisco, was arrested on two counts of possessing and two counts of promoting a sexual performance by a child, all felonies. The 39-year-old served as a substitute bus driver for Homer schools from October 2020 through December 2022 and later worked in the Tully school district.

According to CNY Central, there are currently no allegations of sexual abuse against Underwood.

The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office says Underwood posted $60,000 bail and is due back in court on July 15.
