Football season begins this weekend at Ithaca College

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — The Ithaca College football team is ready to start the season.

On Saturday, the Bombers will host Johns Hopkins at 1 p.m. The teams went head-to-head in a close game last season; Johns Hopkins won 27-23.

During a recent appearance on Bomber Talk on WICB, Ithaca quarterback Matt Parker said he was “itching” to get back on the field. Parker threw 11 touchdowns and four interceptions last season.

Elsewhere in the area, the SUNY Cortland football team will entertain Grove City on Saturday at 12 p.m. The Syracuse football team also plays on Saturday; the Orange will host UConn at 12 p.m.
