Finger Lakes Land Trust offering free Spring Wildflower Walk

LANSING, NY (607NewsNow) — On April 18th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the Finger Lakes Land Trust (FLLT) is offering a Spring Wildflower Walk.

The walk is part of their Talks & Treks event series, providing free and public outdoor exploration and education in and around Tompkins County.

The Spring Wildflower Walk will take place at the Sims-Jennings Preserve at Cayuga Cliffs. Led by FLLT Land Steward Blake Enos, the walk will focus on spring ephemeral wildflowers, plant identification methods, and a discussion of the history and ecosystems that are present at the Sims-Jennings Preserve.
