Feed FLX Pets initiative collecting donations in Tompkins County

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – A group in Tompkins County wants to help pet owners during the federal government shutdown.

The Feed FLX Pets initiative is collecting donations to help families in need avoid choosing between cost-of-living expenses and keeping their pet while federal benefits are cut off.

All donations will go to local food pantries and blue food sharing cabinets. There are four drop-off locations across Tompkins County listed below. Questions? Email feedflxpets@gmail.com
