The Mets will need a new closer next season. Multi-time All-Star Edwin Díaz is heading to the Dodgers on a three-year deal worth $69 million. Díaz played six seasons in New York.

The Sabres are back in the win column. On Tuesday, Buffalo edged Edmonton 4-3 in overtime. Alex Tuch scored the winning goal. The victory snapped Buffalo’s three-game skid.

The Rangers visit the Blackhawks tonight at 7:30 p.m. Chicago has lost back-to-back games.

The Knicks outscored the Raptors 117-101 on Tuesday. Jalen Brunson led the way with 35 points.

The Cornell women’s basketball team fell to Army West Point 76-52 on Tuesday. Cornell has lost four straight games.

Back-to-back wins for the Ithaca College women’s basketball team. On Tuesday, the Bombers dominated William Smith 81-40. Ithaca sophomore Kenzie Perluke had six steals in the win.

The Giants are back in the saddle after a bye week. During a press conference on Tuesday, Interim Head Coach Mike Kafka said he’s been evaluating schemes and playcalling. The Giants are 0-3 under Kafka’s leadership; the team fired coach Brian Daboll in November. New York will host Washington on Sunday.
