Deputies seek info after 3 dogs were found dead in town of Scott

SCOTT, NY (607NewsNow) — Three dogs were found dead in the town of Scott.

The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office says the discovery was made Friday, Apr. 2 on Sweeney Hill Road. All three dogs were malnourished with multiple injuries, according to officers.

“The dogs are described as a hound breed; one female white in color with brown and tan markings, one all white male, and one male that is white with brown and tan markings,” deputies said in a statement.

Deputies are asking the public to reach out if they have information about who owned the dogs at 607-758-6151.
