DANBY, NY (607NewsNow) — A recreational project in Danby hasn’t yet been approved.

The Danby Planning Board is still looking at paperwork for a skate park. The park would be located at 15 Bald Hill Road.

On May 20, the board decided to hold off on granting approval. Board members requested more information about the project.

“The Planning Board asked for a grading plan and the site plan needs to show how access to the adjacent public cemetery will be maintained,” Danby Town Planner Greg Hutnik said.

The board is next scheduled to meet on June 17.
