Cortland pursues funding for Yaman Park

CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) — Cortland is pursuing funding for a summertime spot.

The city will apply for roughly $3.8 million to help improve Yaman Park. The money would come from the New York Statewide Investment in More Swimming initiative.

According to city documents, the park is dealing with beach erosion and general decay of structures at the site.
