Cortland County man charged for failure to appear in court

VETERAN, NY (607NewsNow) – A Cortland County man is facing another charge in Chemung County.

On February 12, deputies arrested James Dann for failure to appear in court.

The 34-year-old was due in Veteran Town Court on December 17, 2025, on a grand larceny charge. Dann was arrested last fall after eluding an arrest warrant that was issued on March 29, 2025.

According to the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office, Dann was arraigned and released with an appearance ticket.
