ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — The Cornell men’s lacrosse team is getting ready for the NCAA tournament.

On Saturday, Cornell will entertain Johns Hopkins at 5 p.m. at Schoellkopf Field. The teams haven’t met since 1987.

Johns Hopkins enters the matchup with an overall record of 9-5. This past weekend, the Blue Jays fell to Penn State in the Big Ten tournament.

If Cornell wins, the Big Red will advance to the NCAA quarterfinals. Cornell won the national championship in 2025.
