Cornell men’s hockey coach names captain for next season

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — The Cornell men’s hockey team will have consistency next season.

Cornell Head Coach Casey Jones has announced Ryan Walsh will again serve as captain. This past season as a junior, Walsh tallied 33 points.

Jones said Walsh “embodies” what it means to be a Cornell hockey player.

“I’m really excited and grateful for the opportunity to lead this group again next season,” Walsh said. “We have a special group of guys.”

This past season, Cornell reached the NCAA tournament for a fourth consecutive year.
