ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) — It was a wonderful weekend at Lynah Rink.

In the ECAC quarterfinals, the Cornell women’s hockey team swept Colgate in a best-of-three series. The Big Red won the first game 3-2 and the second game 3-1.

Cornell next heads to Lake Placid to face Yale on Friday. The winner of that game will compete in the ECAC championship.

On the men’s side, Cornell skated past St. Lawrence and Clarkson over the weekend. Cornell freshman Caton Ryan scored a goal in each game.
