Cornell grad, Nobel prize winner to lecture Thursday

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – A Nobel laureate and Big Red graduate is coming back to Cornell.

On September 25, Harvard Economics Professor Claudia Goldin ’67 will give a lecture on campus.

Goldin, who is widely recognized for her work examining the gender pay gap and the historical role of women in the U.S. economy, will speak about how society recognizes discrimination against women and the impact of expanded women’s rights.

The event is open to the public. It takes place from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. tomorrow at Rockefeller Hall’s Schwartz Auditorium.
