Cornell football stays hot; Giants continue skid

The Cornell football team is on fire. The Big Red beat Penn 39-17 on Saturday. Cornell is riding a four-game win streak.

The Ithaca College football team outplayed RPI 24-23 on Saturday. Ithaca wide receiver Nicholas Lang caught three touchdowns in the win.

The SUNY Cortland football team dominated Brockport 44-14 on Saturday. Sophomore quarterback Mike Rescigno had five total touchdowns in the victory.

It was an ugly Sunday for the Bills. They lost to the Dolphins 30-13. Buffalo Head Coach Sean McDermott said he needs to “figure out” why the Bills are struggling to move the chains.

Four straight losses for the Giants. They fell to the Bears 24-20 on Sunday. Chicago outscored New York 14-3 in the fourth quarter.

Back-to-back wins for the Jets. They beat the Browns 27-20 on Sunday. New York Head Coach Aaron Glenn said the Jets are trying to “sustain” winning.

No luck for the Cornell women’s basketball team. The Big Red fell to Bryant 64-38 on Friday.

The SUNY Cortland women’s soccer team is celebrating a conference championship. On Saturday, the Red Dragons defeated Plattsburgh 3-2 in the SUNYAC Finals.

Back-to-back wins for the Binghamton Black Bears. Binghamton beat Indiana twice over the weekend.
