Cincinnatus mourns passing of firefighter Ronald Smith

CINCINNATUS, NY (607NewsNow) — A longtime firefighter in Cincinnatus has died. 

According to the Cincinnatus Volunteer Fire Department, “Ron served the communities of Groton, Homer, Willet, and Cincinnatus with pride and commitment. In Cincinnatus, he was a current Assistant Chief, a member of the Fire Police, and a Fire Commissioner.”

Smith “dedicated more than 50 years of his life to the fire service.” Arrangements are currently being planned.
