Chemung County woman accused of violating order of protection twice in two days

MILLPORT, NY (607NewsNow) – A Chemung County woman awaits her day in court after two arrests in two days.

On October 17, deputies say Jodi Kent, of Millport, violated an order of protection.

The 53-year-old was arrested, charged with felony criminal contempt, and sent to jail, where she posted bail. The very next day, Kent allegedly violated the order again. She was arrested and charged with misdemeanor criminal contempt.

According to the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office, Kent is being held in Chemung County Jail.
