CFWO annual grant cycle open in Tompkins County

ITHACA, NY (607NewsNow) – The City Federation of Women’s Organizations’ (CFWO) annual grant cycle is open.

The private foundation provides funding to groups that address needs and opportunities for women and girls in Tompkins County. The CFWO has awarded $600,000 in grants since 2013.

Only nonprofits are eligible to apply. The maximum funding amount is $15,000. Applicants will be notified in late November of the Board’s decisions for the funding period of January 1 – December 31, 2026.

Projects prioritizing community development, education, gender equity, health, human services, arts and culture, and social justice are encouraged. An online information session for interested parties will be held on September 3. Visit the CFWO website for more information.
