CAYUGA HEIGHTS, NY (607NewsNow) — Authorities in a Tompkins County village are looking back on a busy month.

The Cayuga Heights Police Department received 425 calls in October. That’s roughly a 15 percent increase over September.

Cayuga Heights Police Chief Jerry Wright said no felonies were reported in October, though authorities handled one misdemeanor incident of fraud.
