BorgWarner strike enters second week after rejection of second contract offer


LANSING, NY (CortacaToday) — The strike at BorgWarner continues. 

Workers at the Lansing plant remain on the picket line after rejecting a new contract offer on Friday. The Ithaca Voice reports a majority of Teamster Local 317 members voted against the new proposal.

A BorgWarner spokesperson says the company is disappointed that the new agreement was rejected. The strike, which began a week ago today, now enters a second week.
