BARTON, NY (607NewsNow) — Some pet fees will become slightly more expensive in Barton.

Starting in February, it’ll cost $14 to license a spayed or neutered dog and $22 dollars to license a non-spayed or non-neutered dog. Those amounts are each $1 more than the current fees.

The Barton Town Board unanimously approved the increases on Jan. 12. According to town documents, the fees hadn’t changed since 2022.
