Albany Republicans propose middle class tax cuts, O’Mara says

ALBANY, NY (607NewsNow) — Republicans in Albany are proposing a middle-class tax cut. 

Sen. Tom O’Mara tells 607 News Now it’s part of a package of bills called ‘Keep What You’ve Earned,’ which the GOP says “would deliver the largest-ever middle-class income tax cut and additional broad-based tax relief for all New Yorkers.”

O’Mara explained how the proposed tax cut would be implemented.

Meanwhile, state lawmakers are holding budget hearings on Gov. Hochul’s spending plan proposal through the rest of February.
