CORTLAND, NY (607NewsNow) — The 1890 House Museum has been granted $10,000 from the Preservation League of NYS for window restorations.

The money comes from the Preservation Opportunity Fund, which allows the Preservation League of NYS to aid nonprofit historical sites in New York state with much-needed capital projects.

Water infiltration issues at the 1890 House Museum will be addressed through the window restoration by repairing windows that show the most deterioration. Timothy Robideau of Makerguy Woodworks in Home will complete the window restoration work.

Find more information on the grant and repairs being made on the Preservation League of NYS website here.
